May’s Gone Away
May has come and gone, so how’d it go?
Not perfect, but pretty good I think!
I didn’t finish everything I set out to do… Yoohoo is still in production limbo, but it’s still on my mind.
I signed up for two more pageants at the Chez. The Snatch Game June 14th and the Comedy Pageant May 30th. Both of which I had a lot of fun doing last year. I did not and will not be signing up for the newest season of Chez Legends, and you can read why here. I am excited to go and cover it more for my eventual video show!
The Dainty Apricot Screenplay Showcase has been a bit of a dud… there was only one submission, so I changed the deadline. It was originally supposed to end this month, but now it will end a week after the tenth submission.
I’ve been keeping up with my regular magazina segments. This months swatchy was FROG. I had fun making that, and going down memory lane.
I’m continuing my Flaminimi series by starting an interactive digital gallery.
Sometimes the internet feels like a ravenous void. I put so much into it, but I barely see a ripple. I know the way to start building an active following is to prioritize smaller portions of content on a more regular basis. I’ve been getting more efficient at updating my site, this June I’ll try to start getting better at updating outside socials (and sending out mail to my mailing list).
Regardless of how many people appreciate it, I’m happy to be growing as an artist and continuing to challenge myself.
