Buzz In
This swatchy is called Buzz In. I actually drew the original a long time ago and just never put her on my website. She’s a bee ringing a door bell, get it? Real heady stuff I know.
The main color is F3D367, and I used 101114 for my darker value.
I didn’t film a timelapse since the focus was less on the character, and more on perspective and material rendering. These are skills I have less practice with, so there’s a lot more trial and error that I didn’t think would make for a compelling watch.
That’s also why I opted to keep this color palette very limited, so I could focus on values while I practice rendering materials. I could have spent more time on this, but I feel like I learned enough from it. Plus it’s been a long month…
