Hiii diary. I am almost done with this month’s issue. Not that you’d guess just by looking at it! I have a lot of material that I worked on simultaneously this month, which in hindsight wasn’t the greatest way to stay organized. Oh well, maybe next month I’ll get on a more consistent schedule (unlikely).

I went to Chez last night for Legends Season the one we’re on now episode something!
I spent too long getting ready so I didn’t get as many pictures as I would have liked with people, but oh well. It was still a special night. It was a nice mix of new performers and more experienced ones. I appreciated seeing a couple of the baby queens singing live.
Of course, the highlight of the night was miss Chloe Cloaca (the Valkyrie). I adore her, as a person and as a creative force. Her performance was part fairy tale, part pop star, and all heartfelt reflection. This piece was a reflection and celebration of her journey as a trans woman. The production was incredible; I loved the voice acted segments, the elaborate choreo, and of course her new song. There was a moment where she brought up a lot of the local dolls to dance alongside her, which was so sweet. Kudos to Cloaca for putting on a finale quality number that was as fun as it was powerful. Congratulations on the win and I wish you the best in the actual finale <3
Sure, I may get fussy about Legends sometimes, but nights like last night are why I can never truly be mad at it. Ultimately, it’s not about who gets the shiny crown and scepter. It’s about community.

Oh man it’s been like 2 weeks since I touched this website… whoops. I know nobody everybody is wondering about me, Flaminia! Don’t worry, I didn’t run off to go play housewife in Massachusetts again. I ran off to a different part of Massachusetts to play vacation. I went to Provincetown!
I saw some phenomenal drag shows while I was there, and I thrifted some cute pink gogo boots. I’m glad to be home and back to my usual routine though.
I’ve been working on a few projects even though I haven’t posted anything. I’d rather not tell you because I’m less likely to actually finish any of it if I start blabbing now.

Full cast for the all drag cast improv show I’m doing next month is in! I miss playing improv games. I wanted to run my own drag improv show years ago. Even got a few friends to practice with a few times. Never got the nerve to pitch it though… oh well it all worked out. Most things usually do, and when they don’t I’m pretty fickle anyways so I’ll just move on to something else.
Speaking of something else! Teddy and I shot a lot of Flamedia on Thursday at the Chez. Some of it came out better than others. It’s really difficult to get good audio and video there. The place is just too crowded, there’s bound to be background noise. Oh well, it’s a good problem to have I suppose. Even so, I loved how the pictures came out. I finished editing those today, and I made a page for them in FAGIOLINA

Chez ended up being a lot of fun, I got lots of pics and ended up performing on a whim. I’ll tell you more about that later though. I wrote up most of an article about it, just need to finish editing all the pictures and video from that night. I had a very full weekend of chilling out

Feeling less fussy. Squarespace support emailed back, and I let them know what’s going on. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, but in the meantime, I’m going to focus on my studies. Oh and I’ll be at Chez tonight to take more pretty pictures :3

Put up the new July FAGIOLINA. Started work on a bunch of this months to do list! Squarespace (what I use to make this site) is being super frustrating! Hope an actual person on their support team can help me with the half dozen glitches I’ve run into trying to use this shitty service. Still better than learning HTML from scratch, I guess. Feeling fussy
